Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

In the opening scene, Lara wear very tight and very short shorts, along with a form-fitting top that shows off her accentuated and large breasts beneath it. During that, the soundtrack that plays along with the action scene includes the sound of a woman's sensuous moan (although nothing sexual is occurring in the scene). Just after the opening sequence Lara takes am extended hot shower/bath, and then is shown in a short towel. After a brief exchange of words with her butler she drops the towel and breast can be seen from the side. (no nipple)

The camera focuses much on her breasts

A man get out of the shower. He walks around completly naked but nothing is shown, his man hood is blocked by something that happens to be there.

Violence & Gore

A large robotic/mechanical creature blasts out of a wall near Lara and knocks her to the floor. She does various back flips to get out of the way as it comes after her. She then repeatedly riddles it with bullets from her two handguns, but it keeps coming after her, knocking many stone structures down and/or out of the way as it does so. She eventually shoots the base of a monolith, causing it to fall and seemingly crush the robot. It then keeps coming after her, however, trying to attack her with various spinning blades/razors until she eventually jumps on top of it and rips cables from it. People are stabbed by stone creatures using swords. They are impaled and slashed, and are also thrown around.

A man is hit in the face by a screwdriver. There is no blood even though the film is rather violent.

Many villans are shot.

Profanity

At least 4 "s" words, 2 hells, 1 ass and 1 use each of "For God's sakes," "My God" and "Oh my God" as exclamations.

An older acquaintance of Lara's offers her some port. She declines, but we then see him drinking some, as well as a photograph of him and Lara's dad holding what look like glasses of brandy.

Lara suddenly falls a great distance through a hole in the ground, eventually stopping her fall by grabbing ahold of some vines in a large, underground temple.
